Hotel L de Lutece - Notre-Dame

Rooms and breakfast were good and location is nice.

What a lovely boutique hotel in a quiet location. We had a room on 5th floor at the front . No road noise though as quiet street. Staff all really pleasant . Breakfast was adequate to start the day. Room size was better than expected but not loads of room if you have a lot if luggage but ok for few nights. Bathroom clean and shower with good hot water and powerful . Great location for getting around and felt safe in the evening after strolling out locally. We paid more than usual for a city break to stay somewhere with good reviews. However the disappointing bit was the lift was broken so 5 steep flights of stairs at end of our day was tough going. My husband has had a double knee replacement so a lift was really important. A hotel guest says it had been out of order for 10 days of their stay so could have been longer. I think Booking.com should mention this if they were aware as it could really spoil some peoples trip. Especially as the room costs were quite high . Otherwise really nice stay.

The entire staff was extremely cordial, made me feel comfortable and welcomed right away. Were very helpful in providing information on nearby restaurants, public transport etc. The best part was tea and super tasty, homemade like pastries daily from afternoon till 8:00 pm ! Each day after I came back to the hotel after a tiring day of adventure, I loved sitting in the lobby with tea and enjoyed these tiny pastries before heading to my room. The place is small (just like any other hotel in Paris), located in an history alley and stones throw away from Notre Dame and bridges on Seine River. There are pretty good restaurants in the neighborhood too ! Loved staying here and if I came back, I would definitely consider staying here again ! 5/5 for everything. The only sort of complaint I have is, the room was two levels, not a big deal, but would have loved the huge window with a bench which is what I had seen in pictures and wanted. There are no views from the rooms, but it really doesnt matter, the location is simply amazing and close to metro stations, great boulangeries, creperies, berthilion icecream and coffees (Noir), restaurants !

This hotel manages to successfully combine contemporary and traditional and is a joy to visit. The rooms are small as is typical in Paris, but are beautifully appointed with lovely little touches. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and so welcoming. Fantastic location in my favourite part of Paris. Thank you.

The staff were extremely friendly. We arrived well before check in time but our baggage was locked up for us so we could explore. The location is very convenient. It was less than a 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and 15 minutes to the Louvre. There is a Batobus stop near Notre Dame to give you access to any of the attractions near the Seine.
